How to turn formatted text into an A4 PDF locally

Write or paste rich text into the browser editor, format the document, preview discrete A4 pages, insert manual page breaks when needed, and export the pages as a visual PDF.

  1. Type text directly or paste formatted document content into the editor.
  2. Choose a base font or format selected text with font family, size, color, bold, italic or underline.
  3. Use alignment, lists and other editor controls to structure the document.
  4. Insert a manual page break where you need a new A4 page to begin.
  5. Review the discrete A4 preview and page count.
  6. Download the PDF and inspect every page before sharing it.

A practical example

A short proposal pasted from a document editor can keep headings, lists, emphasis and alignment while 1into1 normalizes foreign font sizing and layout CSS into its own A4 page model.

Common questions

Which page size does Text to PDF use?

The current tool exports fixed portrait A4 pages.

Can I add manual page breaks?

Yes. The editor inserts a dedicated page-break marker that the paginator uses to start a new A4 page.

Which font sizes are available?

The current toolbar offers 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 24 and 32pt choices.

Which base fonts are available?

Sans-Serif, Serif, Georgia and Monospace presets are available, and selected text can also receive the toolbar font choice.

What formatting can survive a rich-text paste?

Semantic document structure such as headings, lists, tables, blockquotes and emphasis can survive after sanitization. Useful styles such as color, background, weight, style, alignment and decoration can remain, while foreign font sizing, margins, dimensions and layout CSS are normalized.

Can pasted content load remote images or scripts?

No. Executable markup and remote-resource elements are stripped. Raster images are allowed only when embedded as data:image PNG, JPEG or WebP content.

Is the final PDF searchable or selectable?

Not as native PDF text. Each A4 page is rendered to a JPEG-backed page image before being embedded into the PDF, so the output behaves like an image-based document.

Is the document uploaded?

The editor and PDF generation run locally in your browser.
